Astrocartography
Your astrocartography map: your birth sky across the globe.
At the moment you were born, each planet was rising somewhere on Earth, setting somewhere else, and overhead along one meridian. Astrocartography maps those places as lines — we calculate every one from your exact birth time.

What you'll explore
Gentle chapters, clearly explained.
40 calculated lines
Rising, setting, culminating and anti-culminating lines for the Sun, Moon and eight planets.
Check any place
Search a town or click the map to see which lines pass within 800 km, with distances.
Honest precision
Each minute of birth-time error moves every line about 0.25° — so we need a known time and place.
Example: lines for 1 January 2000, 12:00 UTC — not your chart.
Our approach
Lines from the sky, not by hand.
Lines come from each planet's apparent right ascension and declination and Greenwich sidereal time at your birth, verified against Swiss Ephemeris in our tests. What a line might mean is symbolic — please don't base a move on it.
- Every line computed from your birth moment in UTC
- Interactive: toggle planets and angles, check places
- No lines drawn without a birth time and place
- Reflective framing — no relocation promises
Prompts to sit with
A taste of reflection.
“Which places have always felt like home without a reason?”
“Where did you feel most visible — and was it welcome?”
“What would you want a new place to bring out in you?”
